Kanye West accuses Adidas CEO of Imitating His Yeezy Slides

Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) is clearly not happy with the Adidas head honcho.

The music star, who recently took a three-month break from Instagram, returned to the stage on Monday to blame the company for mimicking its slideshow design on Yeezy.

“THIS IS YOU DRIVING ON THE SAME ROAD Kobe passed away,” he wrote in a deleted post, referring to Los Angeles history Laker Kobe Bryant.

Last year, Byant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, fired Nike for allegedly releasing shoes she had made in honor of their late child, Gigi, without her consent.

“For Kasper I no longer stand for this blatant copying,” continued Ye, speaking directly to Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted.

“In every culture culture For every soccer player even if you work in a store. This is for everyone who wants to show up but feels unable to make them lose their contract or be called crazy Courage is not afraid Courage will overcome the fear of your truth, ”he added.

“This Yee with green paint on my face. These shoes represent the contempt that the people in power have for talent. This shoe is a fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves. I’m not talking to DC about this and Kasper come and talk.”

“Happy Monday,” he concludes with a resounding nod.

Since 2013, the rapper has been a business partner of Adidas, which is expected to free its $ 55 Adilette 22 sandals on June 23.

The Yeezy Slide is slowing down in 2019, and Adilette sandals are similar in style and concept to the more expensive Ye slides.

By 2020, sales of Yeezy sneakers increased by nearly $ 1.7 billion in annual revenue, making the rapper a whopping $ 191 million. Bloomberg.

Rørsted has not yet commented on Ye’s allegations.
