Veterans Day 2022: Free Fares and Discounts for Service Members and Their Families

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11 and to honor the service members who have bravely served our country, restaurants and businesses across the country are showing their gratitude with free meals, discounts and other worthy benefits.

Most discounts will require proof of military ID. To receive online discounts, you may need to register ID.me to ensure military service.

Beginning on Veterans Day 2020, current military service members and their dependents, veterans and families of gold stars begin receiving free lifetime access to national parks, wildlife refuges and other federal lands managed by the Department of the Interior, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
